Tesco offers a range of support for autistic people across all of its stores.

If you’re wearing a Sunflower lanyard, our colleagues will understand that you have a hidden disability and that you may need a little extra help or time. However, they won’t know what your particular disability is, or what challenges you may face. If you have specific requirements, please ask one of our colleagues for help.

Free Sunflower lanyards are available to customers with a hidden disability. Ask at the customer service desk in larger stores, or at the checkout in smaller ones*. You don’t need to provide proof of a disability.
*We reserve the right to stop giving out sunflower lanyards at any time.
In-store quiet hours
From 9–10am every Wednesday and Saturday, we have a quiet hour in all our stores. We’ll also reduce the lighting in our large stores.
